Why Join the
Emagination Team?
Since 1982, Emagination Computer Camps has made a positive difference in
the lives of thousands of kids from across America and around the world.
You lead the way as workshop leaders and mentors. You make the camps run and
have fun helping campers explore technology, make friends and build
self-confidence. You'll make friends and be part on a diverse
international population of campers and counselors.
What is Emagination's Mission?
Our mission is to provide boys and girls who are interested in
technology with a fun, challenging and enriching summer camp experience
in a safe and nurturing environment. We design and deliver technology
workshops that dazzle and amaze our campers and we provide the benefits
of a traditional summer camp through sports and recreation.
What Does It Take to Join Emagination?
We're looking for a select group of technology-savvy counselors who have
a passion for technology, enjoy being with kids and want to teach, lead
and have fun. You must be a positive person who is enthusiastic,
energetic and hardworking. The work is hard and the schedule is
rigorous. Yet on your time off you can take advantage of three of the
greatest cities in the world! The experience is very rewarding.
What's the Typical Background of Counselors and Staff?
Many counselors and staff members are college and graduate students
studying computer science and electronic arts and graphics.
Schoolteachers on summer break also join our team. All counselors are
adults and complete a comprehensive training program developed over 21
years.
What Positions are Open?
We need counselors with skills to instruct in one or more areas of the
camp's technology and recreation program. Positions are also open for
Lifeguards, Network Administrators, Assistant Directors and Recreation
Directors.
Where are the Camps Located?
At Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts, Mercer University in Atlanta Georgia,
Eastern University in St. Davids, PA
and Lake Forest Academy in Lake Forest,
