Campers and Parents:
A
Lifetime of Memories starts here! Nestled in 116 beautiful
acres in Hopkinton, our summer day camp is the perfect
setting for wonderful summer memories. Our highly
motivated staff enjoys sharing their enthusiasm of day
camping with your child or teen.
All of
our camp programs are designed to help children ages 3 to
15 develop a sense of self-worth, social skills and to
explore in a fun, healthy and supportive environment. We
offer traditional, specialty, and teen camp programs.
Traditional camp activities include archery, arts and
crafts, canoeing and kayaking, drama, low and high
challenge course, outdoor skills, music, nature, sports
and more. In addition we also offer a traditional Sports
Camp where campers learn skills, drills and game play of a
variety of sports and a Discovery Camp where exploration
is endless in learning about science and nature. All
traditional camp program participants will receive swim
lessons and recreational swim daily.
Specialty camps focus on the sport or activity of the camp
for the entire day and include recreational swimming.
Specialty camps for 2010 include Circus Arts Camp, Drama
Camp, Gymnastics Camp, Robotics Camp, John Smith Soccer
Camp, Fort Building Camp, Horse Camp and Engineering with
LEGOS.
Teen
and Leadership programs encourage the acceptance of
responsibility in those young men and women who are ready
to begin the transition from camper to leaders and future
staff members. Programs include Adventure Plus (Completed
grades 7-8) and On the Road (Completed grades 7-9). We
also have a Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program for teens
that have completed grades 9 or 10. This is a volunteer
program that participants must apply for and be accepted
in to.
Morning and afternoon extended care programs are available
at camp and at our Framingham Branch. Busing is also
available as our bus routes service the towns of Ashland,
Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Marlboro, Medway,
Milford, Natick, Sherborn, Southboro and Sudbury.
We
will be holding several Camp Information sessions
throughout the winter and spring. Dates, time and
locations are as follows:
January 26, February 10, and March 17, 7:00pm in the Annex
building at camp in Hopkinton.
March
